Welcome to Channel 4 news at 6:30! My name is Jennifer Johnson, and I will be hosting this new show along side Tom Randles, who has been anchoring Channel 4’s weekend newscasts for several years.
I’m sure many of you are wondering why Channel 4 is launching a new half hour show from 6:30 to 7:00. The answer is simple. We understand how busy life can be. As much as you’d like to make it home by 6:00 to see the day’s news, you seldom are. Starting today… there’s a new option.
At 6:30 each night, Tom and I will bring you the days top stories no matter where they happened. Whether it’s a big national story or one that unfolds right here at home, we’ll give you the information you need as quickly as possible.
